This was my first opportunity to read the work of D.A. Kelley....and wow what a rich read it was. It has been awhile since I found a novel that made me selfishly hide out with my Kindle and read for hours until I finished. This book was filled with drama, comedy, real-life challenges that plague families dealing with Mental illness. This book allowed me to experience so many emotions simultaneously. I loved the characters. I look forward to CeeCee and James' story as well as Lynette, Terrell, Van and even Geneva's. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys excellent story-telling.Product details

This book has a great message.
I wasn't disappointed. It was a pretty good read. I enjoyed the characters and I have to agree I like how it was pointed Satan is on his job, things aren't what they seem. I'm ready for another!

What a powerful message! This story communicates a concept which is difficult for many to grasp...forgiveness. Very often forgiving ourselves is the most difficult part and this novel addressed all the various ways that unforgiveness impacts our lives and the healing power true forgiveness has. Thanks for the reminder message D.A.
I loved this book, it shows God's love, mercy and favor is real...It also shows that it's not enough to love someone and be a couple, if you are not moving toward being one, separation is inevitable...Forgiveness is key to healing and spiritual growth
Very fulfilling and an easy read a satisfying read. Inspirational, I wanted to forgive all that hurt me. At the end of this book I immediately checked for other works by D. A. KELLEY....Disappointed when I found only one other book which am not sure is a novel.
